It&#8217;s beautiful. Anyway, let&#8217;s get back to business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note that <strong>recording your name<\/strong> can only be done via the LinkedIn mobile app (IOS &amp; Android). Once you have recorded your name, a little speaker ? is <strong>displayed<\/strong> besides your name on your LinkedIn profile, on desktop &amp; on mobile (see above photo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you are on your profile on the mobile app of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aswinlutchanah.com\/blog\/category\/social-media\/linkedin\/\">LinkedIn<\/a>, in your <strong>introduction card<\/strong>, tap on the pencil \u270e to edit it. You will see the &#8220;Add name pronunciation&#8221; option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>? Tap &amp; hold<\/strong> the recording button to record your name. Before saving, make sure you are satisfied with the result. You can do retakes as long as you are not satisfied with the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guidelines for recording your name by LinkedIn<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LinkedIn provides some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/help\/linkedin\/answer\/120710\">guidelines<\/a> for a good recording of your name:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Make sure that the total recording time is within 10 seconds<\/li><li>Limit background noise&nbsp;<\/li><li>Speak slowly and pronounce each syllable clearly<\/li><li>Hold the phone about four inches from your mouth<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hijacking the record your name option<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">?
